URGENT UPDATE: SB17 Outlaws Sale of Semi-Automatic Weapons and Guns with >10 Rounds

SB 17 will outlaw the sale of any semi-automatic weapon that has a detachable magazine and any weapon with a fixed magazine that can hold more than 10 rounds. It also places undue burdens on gun stores.

Legislators know this is unconstitutional, but it has been politicized and fast-tracked anyway.

This Bill has been passed by the full Senate but may have stalled in the House Judiciary Committee. The Governor is still pushing hard for it, so let's keep up the pressure to STOP this Bill!

HOORAY 😍: We had a win on the HB99 medical malpractice Bill!

HB 99 – Medical Malpractice Reform bill has now been passed in BOTH the House and Senate! This is a solid Bill to help fix NM's healthcare crisis and stop the outflux of doctors leaving the state. This Bill just needs to be signed by the Governor now.
