The Library Guild meets weekly at different libraries around the city. We will not meet on Nov. 27, so we can honor God and our families as we celebrate Thanksgiving. In December we will not meet the week of December 25th or the week of January 1st. We will be Celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and a New Beginning.
Just about everyone is working as challengers, observers, Election Clerks, floor judges or precinct judges. We plan to do everything we can to help have a fair election.
We are still printing sample ballots at Calvary on Osuna at services on Wed., Sat., and Sun. People can also have them printed at the Republican Party of New Mexico headquarters (RPNM). If people would save their election flyers, pamphlets or other propaganda, we will be reviewing these for any campaign violations whenever we get the chance.
Encourage people to take notes if they see anything they question when they go to vote and let someone know.
It is important to continue to attend your schoolboard meetings, city council meetings & county commission meetings on a regular basis. That is how you hold the government accountable.
The New Mexico Election Transparency (NMET) Network wants to encourage anyone interested in supporting our election process to sign up with your County Clerk to work the elections. The number for the Bernalillo Co. Election Bureau is 505-243-8683 email: clerk@bernco.gov.
