STANDARDS FOR AGE-APPROPRIATE INSTRUCTIONAL AND LIBRARY MATERIALS

In collaboration with Micayle "Myke" Petersen from Freedom Families United (FFU), we are pleased to share with you a policy resource that could fix the explicit school library books problem.  
 
FFU has developed "Standards for Age-Appropriate Instructional and Library Materials," which is a policy that can be implemented by local school districts. This policy would require school library books to be rated, similar to how movies are rated for age-appropriateness.
